29th September 2016 Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: B&J Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: 16.1 Weather: sun Max Speed: 24.5/2secs (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 34 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Rigged 86l triwave with 4.2m. Sea was choppy in places and wind a bit gusty but still good fun. Wind decreased after hour and quarter so rigged 4.7m and sea was nicer for an hour then packed up as tired.. Several small jumps. Took a while to get gybes dialed in chop after well spaced waves in Rhosneigr yesterday. First time I used this board as triwave with 4.7m and works fine. Think single fin 76l would have been better earlier on in chop and 4.2m. Added some km to GPS reading as not switched on for a few runs. Brian out too looking stoked and knackered; me too. |
